Community Training Requirements
There are two requirements for becoming
involved with any Learning Together community-based project. Completing
these requirements helps the learner become better equipped to participate
in community-based projects. These requirements can be completed
in any order:
- Attendance at a Community Training Workshop. The Community
Training Workshops take place at Duke University Medical Center
and are about 90 minutes long.
- Successful completion of the on-line Community Health Program Development
and the Working Effectively in the Durham Community
Modules. The goal of the module is to assist learners to effectively
work with the community to improve health.
Refresher Module
(optional)
A module is included on this website that reviews the concepts
covered in the Community Training Workshop. This module is optional,
but highly recommended. It takes about 20 minutes to complete.
